.this life.

this boy. gosh, let me tell you, he sure is all sorts of awesome.

i mean, just look at that smile. and it's always present. sure, he has an 11am pout/cry session pretty much daily, but i know to watch for it and if i get his nap in on time, he gives me those wide toothless grins all day long.

and boy, do those grins melt my heart. i turn to complete mush. the things i do to continue to get those smiles, well, lets just say it's not short of parading around with purple hair and a big red nose on. and i completely don't mind one little bit.

i seriously don't know what this little man has turned me into. i remember blogging, shortly after i announced i was pregnant, that 'i won't turn this blog into a baby blog'. ha! what a joke that was!
i mean, sure this blog is a lifestyle blog about my day-to-day comings and goings, but i was convinced that i would have other interests besides a little wee one once he arrived. ah, but look at me now. i can't seem to form two sentences without beaming about my boy. he is everything to me and i wouldn't change this new life of mine for anything in the world.

so i hope you don't mind if i don't apologize for writing or sharing pictures about my sweet little guy on a daily basis, because, he really is one rad little fella. and i promise i will try to post things about fashion, food, parties, and music too...really anything that i find interesting, but i just wanted to say you might just get a bunch of this little man too.

so friends, if you're still reading this little rant of mine, please enjoy these pictures of my boy from the other night. it wasn't anything special, just pete, jack and myself playing and reading before his bedtime. a simple wednesday night spent with the people i love the most.

**and special thanks to my auntie myrt for making jack this amazing quilt.
it's by far, our most favourite.
