.Tan & Navy & Stripes, Oh My.

{Cord Leggings: GAP, Sweater: French Connection, Purse: Hugo Boss, Belt: Thrifted,
Shoes: Gap, Earrings: Similar}
Are you loving Navy as much as I am right now?
And with an awesome sweater like this {hello, stripes and mustardy tan!} you have a fool proof get up. Mark my words: Navy is the new Grey, which was the new Black.
Got it?
Seriously, you should get some Navy. Anything in Navy {even adorable sailors would do! ha!}
Oh, And can we please discuss how ridiculously talented my bestie, Fiona, is?
She actually knit this cowl with her own two perfectly British hands.
Bloody Brilliant, my girl. Just brilliant.
I love it a million. Now lets get some snow so I can bust out this soft and gorgeous piece.

  1. On the off chance of sounding like a creep-I totally met Fiona years ago-trying to remember where.. (we may have even worked together briefly at the gap, I think) ..I also have met your friend (Nicole maybe?) Many years ago, she was a hair model at a salon I worked at.
    Small world.

    1. It most certainly is a small world......but one question, Who is this? haha, there's no name and I'd like to pass along the message to them both. Although Fiona hasn't worked at the Gap, so maybe it was someplace else...and Nicole does have the most gorgeous hair ever so that may very well be the case :)

  2. My name is Chelsea, and I found your blog because you began to follow a few of my pinboards on Pinterest.
    I am unsure of either would remember me at all, as I met both of them SO long ago. I wish I could recall where I met Fiona, she was just the sweetest girl!
    (I also posted about the oil cleansing method) :)

    1. Oh Chelsea! THANK YOU for the reply on the oil cleansing method. I need to get that moisturizer you recommended and I so appreciate you giving me an Edmonton address. Very cool. I'll let you know how it goes :)
      Happy to have a new reader from Edmonton. And we'll have to figure out where you know Fiona from. Maybe a restaurant {she worked at a couple different ones} And yes, She is a sweetie.

    2. I wish I could recall where I had met her, it was so long ago. I think I do remember seeing her working at a restaurant on Whyte Ave a few years ago (maybe "flavours"?)...but I don't think she would have even remembered me. I have a knack for remembering everyone :)

      No problem about the oil cleansing-I hope it works out for you:)

    3. That's totally it! Flavours! She worked there for years, and side note: my husband's parents owned that restaurant too. Small world indeed, and I am sooooo impressed with your memory :)

    4. I definitely met her previously, maybe 9 years ago- for the life of me, I cannot remember where! Good to know that I at least got Flavours right!

      That is so amazing that your husband's parents owned it! I loved that restaurant and was SO sad when it shut down.
      Did they have any involvement in 2 Rooms cafe before it switched hands?
      Did his parents do any of the cooking? If so-they are more than welcome to whip up some Hungarian Goulash on a Potato Pancake for me, mmmmm! Ha ha ha

  5. Are those the GAP flats that almost roll up? I bought three pair this summer when they went on sale ($5 a pair, can you believe that?) and I love them. They don't last as long as I had hoped they would but at $5, that's okay! Super cute outfit!

    1. No, I don't think these are the same flats because they are suede and pretty sturdy {although now you have me curious about these roll-up flats and for $5! Yes, please!} And thanks!

      Also, from one Pureology lover to the other......did you ever find a supplier over seas? {I just peeked over at your blog and had to laugh because I would be concerned about that too!}
